Accounts (optional)
You can use My Day without an account. To chat, create a profile in the Social tab. To keep your progress and use it on another computer, create an account in the Profile section with a username and password.

Is My Day free?
Yes. There are no ads, and we don't sell your data.
How do I install My Day?
Click Add to Chrome on the Chrome Web Store page, then pin My Day from the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works without one. An account is only needed to keep your progress and use it on another computer.
How do I move my progress to another computer?
In the Profile tab, create a username and password with Save account. On the other computer, open Profile, choose Load account and enter the same details. Loading replaces the progress on that computer.
I signed out by accident. How do I get my progress back?
Open Profile, choose Load account and enter your username and password. Progress that was saved to the account comes back. Anything that was not saved yet cannot be recovered.
I forgot my password. Can you reset it?
There is no automatic password reset yet, and we cannot recover a password. Keep it somewhere safe.
Where is my data stored?
Your progress is stored on your computer, in Chrome's extension storage. Only the online features, such as the chat profile and a saved account, are stored online. See the privacy policy.
Where does the weather and research come from?
Weather and climate come from Open-Meteo. The daily research comes from public sources: Reddit, a dictionary API, the Bible API, a quotes API and a facts API.
Why do I see "???" in the badges?
Some badges are secret. They stay hidden until you unlock them.
